The MB-SR50N façade is designed for the construction and execution of flat, lightweight curtain walls of suspended or infill types, roofs, skylights, and other structures.

The design of mullions and transoms allows for creating aesthetic façades with narrow, visible division lines while ensuring structural durability and strength. The rounded profiles with a 2.5 mm radius, characteristic of the MB-SR50 system, have been replaced by “sharp edge” profiles in the MB-SR50N system, enhancing the structure’s aesthetics. This profile shape allows mullion and transom profiles to align flush on the interior façade surface. When glazed, the structure visually forms a truss, facilitating an aesthetically pleasing and precise connection with other building elements like internal walls and suspended ceilings.

The MB-SR50N system features a wide selection of mullion profiles (65 mm to 325 mm) and transom profiles (5 mm to 189.5 mm), along with modern solutions for accessories and connecting members. These features enable the system to handle a wider range of loads, with infill in a fixed module of the façade weighing up to 1100 kg. The system provides significant flexibility in arranging façade fixing points, and its wide glazing range supports large dimension glazing and two-chamber insulating glazing units.

The system allows for the installation of various window and door types in the façade, including awning and roof windows. The MB-SR50 IW solution achieves particularly good visual effects when façade-integrated windows are installed in this system.

To construct broken walls in vertical and horizontal sections, special overlapping profiles and properly shaped clamping and concealing strips are used, eliminating the need for special corner mullions and allowing for versatile building shapes.

Heavy-duty façade consoles are adapted to handle the maximum weights of the infills compatible with this system.
