The MB-SR50N EFEKT system is utilized for constructing lightweight curtain walls of hanging and filling types, as well as roofs, skylights, and other spatial structures.
Its supporting structure is based on the modern and proven MB-SR50N mullion and transom aluminum system, offering a wide selection of profiles and the ability to choose sections that align flush with the internal side of the façade, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing connection with interior development elements.
The MB-SR50N EFEKT façade presents a uniform external appearance of a smooth glass wall divided by 2 cm vertical and horizontal lines, achieved through a special system for attaching panes to mullions and transoms. The gaps between the glass fields are filled with a special silicone binder to enhance the construction’s tightness and insulation properties.
A key advantage of the MB-SR50N EFEKT façade is its extensive glazing options. The catalogue includes a wide range of infills, such as one- or two-chamber glass and non-transparent panels based on complex glass. A notable innovation is the use of glass units with a laminated pane. The precisely developed infill mounting system allows flexible and economical adaptation to the specific project’s technical requirements, accommodating glass weights and enabling load capacities of up to 450 kg. There are two standard pane mounting options: continuous or point frame, optimizing the manufacturing process and cost.
Façades constructed with the MB-SR50N EFEKT system boast excellent utility parameters. They provide not only the desired aesthetic appeal but also high thermal insulation, aligning with the global trend towards reducing building energy consumption, which is a primary criterion for evaluating contemporary curtain walls.
Technical parameters of the system:
- Air permeability: class AE 1200 Pa
- Water tightness: class RE 1200 Pa
- Wind resistance: up to 2400 Pa
- Impact strength: class I5/E5
